Working as a Trainee Architectural Technologist working on different types of projects. By being placed on the eduction side of working, I was mainly working on schools across Wales. During my time at Powell Dobson I developed many new skills such as communication skills, developed new skills on Revit and had experience using new softwares such as Solibri, AutoCAD, BimXtra. Also, gaining experience by attending meetings and conferences with different contractors and suppliers.

Working as a Trainee Architectural Technologist. Using mainly Revit to succeed setting up drawings such as floor plans, detailed drawings, fire strategy, ceilling plans, DAS, elevations and sections during my 1 month work placement.

Through my 4 years of being at Cardiff Metropolitan University I have managed to develop many new skills. The main problem that effected me was that I had no previous experience in any sort of design, which I struggled in my first year.
But as my skills developed through the years I am confidant in my design skills, technical details, solutions when it comes to designing a building etc. And this is from working hard at University and getting the experience in my sandwich year at Powell Dobson from being at a practice.
